Last week of the semester!

I'm reaching my last week of lectures for the semester and then I'm off to Germany! My exams all land in January. I have one essay due on the 10th and an exam on the 11th and the 18th. For the exam on the 11th my professor gave the students all the questions on the test, so there won't be any surprises. I feel relieved that I can prepare myself. I have time to catch up on my reading for my exam on the 18th so things are looking good!

I'm trying to find someone who wants to go to London with me after the 18th. I was invited by my friend to go to Scotland with her friends, but I've delayed a trip to London for so long that I really feel like I should go there first more than any other place right now (London is the reason why I came to the UK!). In January there aren't any lectures and I have a week free to myself before the second semester starts, so this is a good time for travel since I'll be getting my money that month as well. So if anyone is willing to come, let me know!

Tonight we had a lovely Christmas dinner on my floor hosted by Ed and Matt. It was so good and so crowded. We also had a gift exchange and I got a cute make up purse and a hat!

I love living with people from different countries. I hear so many different languages and I learn a lot about people. And being around them motivates me to learn another language. I want to learn so much more than I know now.

I'll be leaving Swansea at 8pm at night with Jill and will arrive at London Gatwick by 1am and our flight to Munich won't fly out until 6am. Cheap travel = irrational times! But nonetheless, I am super excited to be spending Christmas and New Years in Germany with my friend Anne and I'm also very excited to be spending a couple of days in Berlin with my flatmate Otteh and his girlfriend. Not spending Christmas with my family will be sad but I'm happy that I'll be with loving people on Christmas day.

Only 8 more days!! I hope everyone is having a great holiday season!!!
