Visiting Bath

I'm a day late but yesterday marked my first month here at Swansea. It's been a real treat being here, getting to live independently, meeting people from all around the world and traveling around. My money is being spent like crazy but it's spent best with food, drinks and going to places of course! Budgeting is hard but I think I'm going to have to really lay down on how much I'll spend for the rest of this year (hopefully). On Saturday I went to the lovely city of Bath and it was absolutely beautiful. The weather was great. Me and my friends were discussing how lucky we are to go on trips and to catch them all on sunny days.

When we first arrived we walked around the market place area and a couple of shops.  Around almost noon Chris spotted an adorable sushi restaurant. Chris and Anne and I were excited and we indulged a bit while Molly and Jill walked around town.

It was good sushi. It was expensive for my price range but nonetheless great! After lunch we walked around in town and stopped by the Jane Austen center. We had to pay for the tour but we just saw the gift shop and left. We reached to the curved buildings (kill me for not remembering the name of it) and spent a good time in the park right next to it and sat in the sun.

Got to see the Roman Baths (10 pound 50 for the entrance and that was the student discount!), ate at mission burrito (my god that place is delicious!), went into the city center and left Bath at around 6:00pm. It was a really lovely day.

The Roman Bath!
Best thing ever
After leaving Bath, I felt a bit sad leaving it because it felt more city-like than Swansea. Hopefully in the future I'll visit again.

I've learned a lot more about myself so far in my first month here and I can honestly say that it's both difficult and great. A lot of realizations that make me for the better. I'm the only person stopping myself from making the things I want happen. I'm blessed with friends that I've made here. I'm so thankful for them.

I hope there are some of you out there who have read my articles back at home. I hope I'm entertaining or helping anyone who wants to go abroad! Feel free to comment or contact me!

For this upcoming week's plans: Cardiff on Saturday, the next weekend will be Amsterdam!

Will keep the posts alive! :)
