It's actually happening!

Today was well accomplishing because I booked my flight ticket! I came out of my shell and asked how everyone else applying to Swansea are doing and turns out that the people who replied are on the same boat! Except they bought their ticket earlier than I did. I feel much better that I found a common ground with some people, including my friend who is leaving for Paris next month!

I also made a new facebook account because I figured I should just accept that it is in fact, a convenient  way to keep in touch with people. It will be convenient when I am abroad. I find it funny how even email is getting a bit old in this digital age.

My flight ticket didn't cost very much either. Tax and fees cost more than the ticket itself. I paid a little over $400, which is great! I leave on September 22nd and I arrive at London Heathrow the next day at noon. I can't believe it is booked - I am literally running around the house with excitement. My sister finds it amusing at how intrigued I was at the purchasing process, and my parents were a bit bitter and in a bad mood (they change to positive and negative from time to time) but I need them to be happy for me, really, because I'm working really hard. I wish they can understand how much I've worked to get to this point.

This will be my first time flying out of the country and flying on an airplane as well. I have been very fascinated with airports and airplanes ever since I was a little girl. Ever since my mom and my sister flew out to Vietnam when I was five I wanted to fly out, and every time I'd go to the airport with my family to either drop off someone or pick someone up from the airport I'd love seeing and hearing people from all over the world. It is the closest I ever got to foreign people!

Things are getting closer. And only 79 more days to go! Thanks to all who are reading and following! I appreciate it. :)
xx
